Terms of service

By commission our studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Before we start

  • Fiverr buyer should follow the rules on fiverr.
  • All payments outside fiverr or VGEN are to be made in full and upfront in USD via Paypal or using cryptocurrency, unless otherwise specified.
  • After discussing with us for the detail of the project, payment for invoices would be made and payment must be made within 3 days with a screenshot of prove. Failure to do so might result in the termination of commission.
  • The selection of an artist and rigger for a project is determined by their availability and the client's budget. A client who wishes to specifically choose an artist or rigger, may incur additional fees and potentially experience longer wait times.
  • Each of our artists has their own unique art style. If you have specific preferences for a particular style or features, please let us know and request to select a certain artist before placing your order. Please note that changes of art style may incur additional fees or, in some cases, result in the cancellation of the order without compensation. Thank you for your understanding.

During commission

  • Studio Nekoyama would contact the client via telegram / Email / Discord / Fiverr to report the progress of work.
  • Client should remain communicative throughout the process to ensure that progress can be completed before deliverable date. If the client provide a non-communicative stand within the duration of 10 days, the project will be terminated with no refunds.
  • The client will be responsible to make extra payments for revisions that are beyond the scope of the original commission that has been mutually agreed on.

Process of work

  • For every project, we follow the same process of work :

1. Provide coloured sketches (with watermark)
2. Ask for approval and revisions.
3. Proceed to finalise the artwork.
4. Deliver finalised render with watermark.
5. Ask for approval and revisions.
6. Deliver final file.

For Vtuber rigging packages

6a. Proceed to rigging.
6b.  Deliver preview video with watermark.
6c. Ask for approval and revisions.
6d. Deliver final model file.

*No Live2D source files(e.g. cmo3 files) would be delivered.
For art+rigging packages, no PSD would be delivered.

Refund and cancelation

  • The client can terminate the agreement anytime by sending a written notice to Studio Nekoyama. Compensation is as follows: ‍

– No work done:
Refunding the client 100% of the total payment for all Fiverr orders.

* Updated refund policy (Affects orders after 13/2/2025):

1. For all Vgen orders, refunding the client full amount of payment subject to a deduction of processing fees (according to VGen website).
2. For all orders paid with Paypal, not including Fiverr or Vgen orders, refunding the client full amount of payment subject to a deduction of 5% of  processing fees.

– Partial work done:
‍Client would need to compensates artist/s 25% to 75% of the total payment based on progress.
‍
– Full work done:
Client compensates artist/s in full as per the contract.

Disclaimer

  • Clients are strongly advised not to schedule their debut too close to the delivery date, as unforeseen circumstances may arise and cause delays.
  • For clients who have reserved a slot with their preferred artist or rigger, please be aware that the slot may still be subject to delays due to unforeseen circumstances or, in some cases, may be declined prior to the commencement of work. Our project manager will promptly inform you and discuss for solution.
